Jap. Hochzeitspaar in westl. Kleidung

Only 4% of the Japanese are Christians but western wedding-dresses are very popular anyway.

The brides maids wear a traditonal Kimono of the higher classes.

Eike (here she's translating a speach in her 15 m2 flat) was the reason for our trip to Japan. She spend 3 years here to learn more about language,  country and people.

Our first visit in a Karaoke-Bar with Eike and her colleagues. In contrast to the european version, where you have to sing in front of the whole bar, the room you're in has only the size of a small room. So you "know" the people who listen to your performance. And if you like, you can enter a small stage.

In telephonbook-like books you can choose between thousands of songs in Japanese, Korean or English. The text is shown as subtitle and changes colour as the song progresses. So you know what to sing at the right time. But there's no help for the right pitch!!!
