Cimetière du Père Lachaise

| With an area of 44 ha (108,728 acres), 12.000 trees and about 1.5 mio grave sites it's definately the biggest and with it's monumental tombstones also the most grandiose cemetery in Paris. The grave sites of Doors-singer Jim Morrison and Edith Piaf are the main attractions, but also Frederic Chopin, Oscar Wilde, Honoré de Balzac and Molière are buried here. |
